1. Data we collect

• Order data: name, email address, ICCID (for top-ups), plan purchased, order number and amount.
• Payment data: handled by our payment providers; we never see full card numbers.
• Support and enquiries: what you send us via the contact form, email or chat.
• Checkout consent record: that you agreed to immediate delivery and the time you did so.
• Technical and analytics data (only with consent): pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from IP address.
• Affiliate data (only with consent): the referring affiliate ID. From GoAffPro we may receive data about affiliates who sign up.

2. Why we use it and our lawful basis

• Delivering your eSIM or virtual number, top-ups and order emails — contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Payments, fraud prevention and site security — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Accounting and tax records — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• Answering support requests — contract or legitimate interests.
• Analytics, affiliate tracking and embedded videos — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) via our cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Marketing emails — consent; unsubscribe at any time.

3. Who we share it with (processors)

• Supabase — database and server hosting
• Stripe and our other payment providers — payment processing
• Our eSIM and virtual-number suppliers and mobile network operators — to issue your service
• Google (Analytics, YouTube) — analytics and video, with consent
• Ahrefs — website analytics, with consent
• GoAffPro — affiliate tracking, with consent
• Vercel — website hosting
• Formspree and our email provider — forms and emails

We do not sell your personal data. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.

4. International transfers

Some processors store or access data outside the UK, including in the USA and EU. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK–US Data Bridge where the recipient is certified.

5. How long we keep it

• Order and payment records: 6 years, for tax and accounting.
• Support messages and enquiries: 2 years after the conversation ends.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months.
• Cookie choices: until you change them or our notice is updated.

8. Children and changes

Our services are not intended for children under 13. We will post any changes here and update the revision date above.

9. Acceptable Use of Virtual Numbers

Virtual numbers provided by Teraroma must not be used for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activities. This includes, but is not limited to, impersonation, scams, bypassing platform safeguards, or creating accounts in violation of third-party terms of service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any number associated with such activity without notice or refund.

10. No Guarantee of Third-Party Compatibility

Compatibility with specific services or platforms is not guaranteed. Some platforms may block or restrict virtual numbers at their sole discretion. Teraroma is not responsible for failed verifications, blocked registrations, or any service limitations imposed by third parties.

11. Privacy & Anonymity Disclaimer

Teraroma is designed to enhance user privacy by allowing separation between personal phone numbers and online identities. However, we do not guarantee anonymity or untraceability, and users remain solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Any claims of privacy enhancement are provided on a best-effort basis and do not constitute a warranty.

12. Service Reliability Disclaimer

While we aim to provide fast and reliable SMS delivery, message receipt times and availability may vary depending on carrier networks and external factors beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free service. Teraroma shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or missed communications resulting from service delays or outages.

13. Subscription & Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the billing date. Users can cancel at any time, and access will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Teraroma is not responsible for charges incurred due to failure to cancel before renewal. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Teraroma and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the 30 days preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Teraroma and its affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
